Partnership Between CIMA Hospital and Sana Sana

Sana Sana is a program designed for people who want to proactively manage health risks  and existing conditions. Program members receive benefits such as:

  • Personalized guidance with clear Health and Wellness goals 
  • VIP support on the path to a longer, healthier life 
  • A Digital Health Record accessible through the Sana Sana technology  platform 
  • Special savings on healthcare services, ranging from 20% to 100% • Telemedicine services with general practitioners, psychologists, nutritionists,  and other specialists 
  • Professional guidance in nutrition, physical therapy, home care, and life  coaching 

Agreement with Banco Davivienda

Through the partnership between CIMA Hospital and Banco Davivienda, patients can access  an exclusive 15% discount* when paying with Davivienda credit or debit cards, subject to  certain restrictions that exclude additional discounts, packages, or other promotions. 

This collaboration also offers the “A Paguitos” financing program, allowing patients to split  payments into up to 12 interest-free monthly installments for consultations, procedures, or  hospitalizations—making healthcare more accessible without affecting financial liquidity.

CIMA Hospital has direct payment agreements with several national insurance providers,  including: 

  • Instituto Nacional de Seguros (INS)
  • ASSA Compañía de Seguros S.A. 
  • MAPFRE Seguros Costa Rica 
  • Pan-American Life Costa Rica 
  • Redbridge Assist S.A. 
  • Triple-S (Blue Cross Blue Shield Costa Rica) 

Additionally, CIMA Hospital maintains agreements with international insurance providers that  cover expatriates living in Costa Rica. 

Insurance and Payment Methods

All payments corresponding to outpatient services, hospitalization, and surgery will be previously verified by the Accounts Analysis Department and subsequently processed by the Admissions and Cashier areas.
