Payment Options

Upon arriving at the Hospital’s admission department, you will be asked to confirm the method of payment you will be using to guarantee payment for the costs of your medical care. For payment, Hospital CIMA accepts:

  • Cash
  • Wire transfer – This must be done prior to the date of your admission in order to verify receipt of funds. Our admissions or finance departments can assist you with the bank information you need to make a wire transfer.
  • Credit or Debit Card – You can pay by credit or debit card at the hospital using VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and other internationally recognized payment networks.
  • Verified Insurance Benefits – If Hospital CIMA has an established agreement with your insurance company, then payment will be determined by that agreement. Please be aware that we will need to verify your benefits before your admission begins, with the exception of admissions via the hospital’s emergency room. Your insurance benefits may not cover all the medical services you will receive during your treatment. Please review your insurance policy carefully to understand what expenses will be covered and what your financial responsibility may be.

You may be asked before your medical services begin to provide a credit card to guarantee payment for any additional costs and/or expenses related to a request for a different procedure, complications and/or emergencies arising from the original procedure or treatment, charges which are not included in the total package price, or your physician’s recommendation for an added service that was not part of the original care plan.

Please be aware that Hospital CIMA does not accept:

  • Personal checks
  • Traveler’s Checks
  • Debit card transactions without assurance of sufficient funds at the time of admission.
